Do you issue refunds?

Requests for refunds on tickets or passes purchased will be made at our discretion and will be subject to an administration fee. Please speak to us in store.

What do I do with my e-ticket?

Your digital ticket will be sent to you via an email once you have booked your tickets. You have the option to print the ticket off if you wish. Alternatively you can show the driver the ticket on you phone or device screen and they will be able to scan this and issue you your days ticket for travel.

What security is in place for purchasing tickets online?

The ticketing system is stored on a secure server and all transactions taking place use encrypted data to ensure that your details are safe when making a purchase online

What does my ticket include?

Tour bus only

This ticket is just the bus tour itself.

Tour bus plus Old Sarum & Stonehenge Admission

This  ticket covers the cost of entrance to both Old Sarum and Stonehenge.

Tour bus plus Old Sarum, Stonehenge Admission and Cathedral

This covers the cost of entrance to all three listed sites, this does not cover the cost of the Cathedral Tower Tour.

Entrance to the cathedral is valid for 48 hours after the date you take the tour, just in case you don’t have time to see everything.  All you need to do is arrive within opening hours and show your Stonehenge Tour all inclusive ticket at the welcome desk.

Please be aware that there is an audio tour provided at the Stonehenge site, this is subject to an additional charge by English Heritage and is not included in your Tour ticket.

Can I pay for my ticket on bus?

Yes you can buy your ticket from the bus driver however please be aware any transactions over £30 will need to be paid using cash due to contacless limitations.

Where can I buy my ticket from?

Tickets are available to buy in advance online. Tickets can also be purchased at are Salisbury rail station, Salisbury Tourist information Centre and on the bus.

Does my ticket include the Stonehenge shuttle bus?

Yes your combined tour and Stonehenge ticket will include the cost of the shuttle bus.

Is the bus ticket valid all day?

Yes, you can get on and off the tour as much as you like for the whole day.

If you have the all in one ticket, your access to the catherdral is valid for up to 48 hours after the date you take the bus tour, in case you don’t have time to see everything in one day.

What if I don’t receive my e-ticket within 2 hours?

Sometimes tickets can go into the ‘Junk’ mail box, so please check your spam filters and the ‘Junk’ mailbox if it hasn’t arrived within 2 hours.

If after 2 hours your confirmation email and e-ticket has not arrived (after checking your junk mailbox) please email enquiries@thestonehengetour.info if you are certain payment was completed. We will respond during office hours Monday – Friday (excluding bank and public holidays).

Does my tour ticket give me an allocated time to view the Stones?

If you buy your entrance ticket for Stonehenge with your tour ticket, you don’t have to worry about not booking a specific time slot to view the stones.

What happens when I buy a ticket online?

On completion of your order, you will be emailed a DigiTicket containing a barcode and booking reference number.  Present this ticket on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number and take it with you, coupled with some ID.

How do I change the date of my ticket?

Your tickets are date-restricted but your chosen date can be changed. To change the date of your ticket, you will need to contact our customer services team on 01202 338 420 or email us at customer.services@gosouthcoast.co.uk to speak to one of our advisors. We request that you give us at least 24 hours in times of amendments.

Covid-19 Questions

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, all customers travelling on the Tour will be required to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing.

Some customers may be exempt from wearing a face covering, a list of full exemptions are available here. It is advisable to carry a Helping Hand card to show to drivers and other passengers in case you are challenged for not wearing one.

Im not planning on taking the Tour for a couple of weeks/months, how do I know what time the buses are?

How Long Does the Tour take?

The bus tour itself takes approximately 1 hour and 11 minutes. 30 minutes from Salisbury to Stonehenge, 40 minutes from Stonehenge via Old Sarum back to Salisbury.

To find out how long it takes to visit Stonehenge itself, visit the English Heritage Website, there are tips on what to see if you have a limited amount of time.

We would advise that you leave about 5 hours to make the complete trip if you are visiting Stonehenge, Old Sarum and the Cathedral.

Where do I catch the bus from in Salisbury?

The tour bus stops at Salisbury Train Station, Stop U on New Canal and it also stops on Catherine Street. Click here to view the route map.
